Morning routine close to two rivers
I was so happy when I had my morning routine near the two rivers Loisach and Isar in August and September when I was discovering the two headwaters that I couldn’t discover for my hiking guide last year because the borders to Austria had been closed. They are the sources of the Isar and Loisach rivers where I could bathe wonderfully in both areas. My mornings have started in the same way for a long time.
Morning routine with walking and bathing
I prefer to bathe in the morning. I prefer to walk a kilometer or more from my car without having to go by car anywhere first. Most of all, I like such small creeks, in which there are a lot of large stones, so that the water is really clean. I love it when it’s a very quiet place where no one else is. Only the river, the birds chirping, the wind in the trees, the glint of the sun’s rays on the water, and me in the middle of it all, full of happiness, full of gratitude for the new day.
Gratefulness and thanksgiving prayer or meditation
Actually I can’t really remember when I started it this morning routine with a thanksgiving prayer or meditation while walking to the nearby river. But I know, that I started it this year, at the end of the winter. And I know, that since that moment, my happiness has grown. I consider this thanksgiving prayer to be the right means to avoid negative thoughts. I’m convinced that it’s impossible to have negative feelings when being grateful at the same time.
